I live with my husband and our two children Polly (7) and Charlie (5) in Staines. Three years ago, I gave up my Sales & Business Development role in media to spend more time with the children and to focus more on my love of illustration which had always just been a hobby. I started off with the odd commission and then got more through word of mouth. I set up my website and Facebook page and the commissions continued at a lovely manageable pace. Now I'm so excited to start selling actual products via All By Mama!

Mama Tip

It's a cliché but you have to be organised. I try to get all my work done while the children are at school or in bed and then any other time is family time. Of course, there are sometimes days when you have to get something finished (or when you are just really really enjoying working on it!) when a playdate is very handy, or even a "movie afternoon" for the kids at home!
