Stickibox

Hello we are Pip and Kerry, the co-founders of Stickibox. We met through our children and have become great friends. Our inspiration for creating the Stickibox cardboard kits came from watching and helping our four children make many cardboard creations. It is said all children love a cardboard box and at Stickibox we want to give them the tools to create their own wonderful creations. After a lot of research we have found that there are many colour-in cardboard products but very few can be fully personalised and built by the child.

The Stickibox kit is unique because:
• It includes a plain flat pack cardboard box
• The cardboard box has a removable base and handles for active play
• The stickers, card cut-outs and cardboard box are fully customizable by the child

We provide the tools and the children provide the imagination.

From the beginning it has been important to us that our products are made in the UK. We feel strongly about supporting British manufacturing and also believe that by sourcing our materials in the UK it enables us to provide a high quality product. Our suppliers are all located within a couple of hours of our Headquarters.

The Stickibox car kit is 100% recyclable and where possible is made from recycled material. Our cardboard is made from 80% recycled paper and 20% wood from sustainable forests. Our cardboard supplier is FSC registered.

We are continually looking to increase our product range and have design ideas for many other Stickiboxes.

Mama Tip

Kerry and Pip created Stickibox together. We both have to fit our business around our busy family lives. Having each other is a great support. We can help each other out with childcare and our children are great friends too. Having someone else going through the same experience as you really helps as well. If one of us is feeling like the business is a struggle or feeling unsure about where we go next, the other one is always there to provide positive advice and support.

The one piece of advice we wish we had been given is to remember that not everyone will love your product/idea as much as you do. Don’t let the comments diffuse your passion. They are simply reacting to your business and not you personally.
