Blade & Rose

Amanda set up her business during her maternity leave and named the company after each child’s middle name ‘Blade’ and ‘Rose’. Amanda created her own range of top quality leggings, each with their own unique and trademark design on the bottom. A major component of the development was to ensure that the quality of the fabric was durable, functional, would wash well and most importantly, that was soft and kind to children’s delicate skin.
Amanda - I work on all aspects of the business, designs, new concepts, orders, accounts, marketing & trade shows. Every day is different. Its also important to me to leave at 3pm Thursday & Fridays for quality time with the kids. As well as take time off in the holidays. Absolutely love being my own boss :-)
Blade - Never got to wear the leggings as a baby as didn't start boys until he was 4 yrs. He does however love the bobble hats we now have. Harvey regularly comes up with new design ideas and when he grows up wants to work for Blade & Rose part time alongside car design and saving all the lobsters in tanks in the restaurants.
Rose - Has been the model from day one, although she is now too old to be the crawling baby she models the hats perfectly. When she grows up she wants to launch Blade & Rose pet clothes :-) but will probably ride her pony in the morning (she hasn't got one) and help Harvey saving the lobsters in the afternoon.
