Magpies and Crabs

The biggest thing I've learnt (actually I'm still learning!) is that just because you work from home doesn't mean you have to be available 24/7. I have a studio in my garden and it's very tempting to just nip out once Freddie gets back from school, or after he goes to sleep to tie up a few loose ends. However, email, orders etc etc can always wait until the morning.

Also, just like the next person I would imagine, I tend to run my business from my phone when I'm not in the studio, so am always answering emails and messages on social media late into the evening or whilst on holiday! It's a hard lesson to learn, but I feel I'm getting there.
