Introducing the Titchy Keepsake Bear; also known as a Babygro bear, or memory bear, he’s hand-made to order using your children’s outgrown clothes.
He is designed using a Funky Friends Factory Pattern and is 48cm/19″ tall (measured from the tips of his toes to the top of his head). He has movable buttoned joints, safety teddy bear eyes and is filled with a premium quality, British Standard compliant, toy stuffing.
A lot of love and hard work goes into every Titchy Keepsake Bear I make. Each bear takes approximately 15 hours to produce and is personally designed, cut, stitched and finished to a very high standard, by myself.
As every Titchy Keepsake Bear is hand-made using your children’s clothes, each bear is totally unique, and packed full of all your wonderful memories.

Due to some small parts used in the making of my Titchy Keepsake Bears, they must not be given to children to play with. They are a parent keepsake, strictly for display purposes only.
How it works:
1. You purchase a commission slot from the All By Mama Titchy Shop.
2. You will receive confirmation of your slot, an exact start date in said month and your Titchy Welcome Pack in the post.
3. I will make contact the month prior to your commission slot and request your chosen items.
4. You send your chosen items of clothing.
5. Two weeks after your commission start date your Titchy Keepsake Bear will be homeward bound.

My daughters clothes where very carefully and thoughtfully turned into a beautiful bear, and I love showing her off. I came across Titchy bears by chance and immediately thought that it was such a wonderful keepsake. But despite my little bears clothes being stuck at the back of a cupboard barely looked at for 6 years I struggled with the thought of handing them over to a stranger to be cut up! So I had a lovely chat with Titchy (Jane) and asked lots of questions and she totally understood and put my mind to rest because she’s a mum herself. I bundled up some favourite items and even pinned notes to each saying why I liked them, be it their stripes, buttons, pockets and other detailing, so she knew a little more and would be able to incorporate these accordingly. The result, well it was perfect. Our gorgeous bear now sits pride of place on it own little shelf to be seen everyday, and I smile every time I see it thinking of the little baby grows, dungarees, jumpers, hats, sock and towel motif I bravely handed over to be so beautifully transformed into a handsome bear.

I received my stunning bear made from my daughter’s tiny baby clothes this week and I’m so delighted with it. The attention to detail, quality and creativity is amazing. Jane took into account all of the special requests that I had and added some lovely touches of her own that I could never have thought of but that really enhance the look of the bear. Great communication and a very warm and personal service, which is what you want when you are handing over your precious memories to someone to cut up with scissors! You need about 7-10 pieces of clothing and they can be of any kind, not just baby-grows. Yes, it was a little hard to part with them, but instead of a bag of clothes gathering dust in the loft I now have a beautiful keepsake that I can look at every day and share with my daughter as she grows up.

I wanted a keepsake of my daughter’s very first clothes and when we received our bear it was even better than we imagined. The design is amazing and really brings the materials to life with so many beautiful touches with the use of pockets, buttons and little design features. The service received from Jane is personal with excellent communication.
We also had a t-shirt made which is just so unique its hard to know whether to let our daughter wear it!

I ordered my Titchy bear to be a keepsake of both of my son’s clothes. It took a while to choose their special memorable items, I wanted the bear to be full of special memories. Having met Jane prior to ordering our bear I was sure I could trust her with our precious goods and I wasn’t wrong. I did wonder if I was right to have the clothing cut up and stitched but this was absolutely the right thing to do. Rather than gathering dust in the attic our memories are now on display. Jane is such a talent and her work is just amazing. The detail and quality of her design and work is just perfect and Jane really has created a truly remarkable keepsake for our family to enjoy. I recently had my son’s Titchy bear made after I had seen the bears at a baby and children’s market and I’m so pleased with the result. I now have my newborn daughter’s bear commissioned and I can’t wait to have them both as lovely keepsakes of their newborn days. I was a bit nervous about sending my son’s first outfits as they have so much sentimental value but after they had been sitting in the loft for nearly 3 years, I realised that I would get so much more pleasure out of them on a Titchy Bear and I’m so happy I did.
