Kate Brazier - Artist

Hello, my name is Kate and I work from my home studio in beautiful, rural Worcestershire. I have been painting and drawing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. After working for a commercial art gallery, based in central Birmingham, I started selling my own artwork when I went on maternity leave to have my children. I found that being my own boss worked much better when trying to fit home life around school runs and family life.

I specialise in contemporary layered watercolours. Although a lot of my work is inspired by the coast and British countryside I am also known for my love of biscuits - so a lot of my work features the Nation's favourite tea time treats!

I am passionate about colour and I love working with individually hand-drawn and cut layers to create depth to my original artwork that translates well to my printed work. I mainly work in watercolour and watercolour pencil to create a bright and vibrant finish. My limited edition giclée prints are professionally printed and are signed and numbered by me.
My cards and stationery are all hand-finished and can be personalised with names and dates of your choice.
