Outshine Art

I’m based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey and my children are 3 and 4 years old. I set up Outshine Art in 2013 as I wanted to be creative, to work around the children rather than commute into London and to do something tangible that the children would be proud of.

The artwork that I design is often described as beautiful and unique and customers regularly comment on the simple and clean designs. I love working with mount board, the designs are cut out using a blade and you get a beautifully clean bevelled edge to the image. Even the cut-out shape is stunning and I’m able to use these as a gift tag once the picture has been wrapped.

I love designing new pictures and then sourcing the patterns to compliment the image. Personalised pictures are always popular gift – names and dates can be embossed onto the artwork and personal messages can also be written on the mount and the gift tag.

I have a regular stall at Farnham Maltings Monthly market and have exhibited at Spirit of Christmas and Kirstie Allsopp’s Handmade Fair.
