Crafty Revolution is run by me, Francesca - Hello!

I am a wife and mum to two little ones. 2012 was not only memorable for the birth of my little man, the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics but also the creation of Crafty Revolution!

I love to crochet, sew and knit and have been doing so for many years making clothes and dressy up outfits for my children and little trinkets for family and friends. Being a military wife and always on the move I am keen to make the best of a house and turn it into a home with personal handmade touches. Believe me, with some of the houses we have had, it was needed!

If you have visited my Pinterest or Instagram pages you may have noticed my slight obsession with Singer Sewing Machines and am the proud owner of various models. I like to source and use vintage and modern fabrics and materials for my creations pulling on inspiration from my children, my Italian roots, Scandinavia and, of course, all things British.

A couple of years on and I am incredibly proud of CR's achievements such as being selected as Kirstie Allsopp's The Handmade Fair Top 100 Crafter and Small Business Saturday UK's Top 100 Small Business. An invitation to Downing Street was definitely a highlight of 2014!
