Bea's Handmade

My background is Fine Art and years in creative and commercial circles. I love fabric (see the huge stash in my studio!) from kitsch to retro, minimal to ornate, vintage to contemporary, this celebration and passion shows in the baby blankets and quilts that I make.

The heirloom patchwork quilts are completely unique and beautifully handmade. My love of colour, ornament and composition is transferred to these lovingly made textiles. The quilts and blankets are designed to be used, loved and will become treasured possessions. I source my fabric carefully, I am always on the look out for unusual fabrics, vintage, new and limited edition or heritage prints.

I work in my mini studio here in my house in South West London, in between teaching children cookery and looking after my two sons.
