Pink & Green

Hi I’m Charlene and I have 2 daughters aged 20 and 16 and a son, our youngest who is 7 and I am the person behind Pink & Green.

For as long as I can remember I’ve always escaped into creativity and took the opportunity to build on this whilst on maternity leave 16 years ago. A small business and self-employment soon followed. My ideas and medium have changed over the years and crochet only really came into my life following the birth of our son – but am I happy that it did! And what can I say.. I love it! It has become an extension of me and I love to create things to ignite the imagination, inspire or comfort the soul – possibly and preferably all three at the same time.
Crochet helps me to be happy and I am great believer that that positive energy goes forward into whatever I create and as cliché as it is, infuses them with love. And that to me is priceless.

My inspiration comes from playing around, being surrounded by creative people (my three children between them are hugely creative beings!) and surrounded by creative things and words from beautiful designer makers, bloggers and writers. There is a wonderful online craft community too that is a wealth of support and inspiration.
